-1st graders completed a scooter board lesson on safe driving, safe grip and safe maneuvering yesterday! They learned the "alligator" and "bear crawl" positions as well! The lessons learning targets were practiced using the activity "Scooter Racetrack", which is where students get to practice driving through the "racetrack" that is set up in the HCS gym!
-5th graders competed in the game of "Bank It" yesterday, which tested their abilities to throw, catch and manipulate a foam ball with different parts of their body in order to score "buckets"!
