-The following Videos are of the "literacy and math infused" game of "Basic Training." This game involved being with a partner and navigating around the gym using different scooter skills. Students were navigating their way through the gym in order to find whatever their task card asked them to find... Kindergarten used level 1 sight cards and just letters of the alphabet on our poly spots. Whereas grades 1-2 used level 2 sight cards with additional addition and subtraction flashcards.
Nice work to all LCS students in completing their "Basic Training." Also check out the photo below of just how crammed the gym floor was with different cards. This is a great lesson for sure.
