-We are very lucky at Lincoln Community School that we get to take each homeroom class Cross Country Skiing three times each school year to Rikert's Nordic Ski Center. Rikert's is located at the Middlebury College Breadloaf Campus in Ripton. Students get to use the boots, skis and poles from Rikert's. Students take lesson from instructors and navigate all the wonderful trails on the property. I have had so much fun skiing with the students so far! Every class has gone either once or twice already. When we get back from break we have six more dates scheduled that will lead us all the way to the middle of March!
