Game: "It's OKAY to be ODD!"

-The name says it all.  If a student rolls an "ODD" number at a hula hoop they get to come to the "Teacher's Circle" and steal one stick (points) from the teacher and bring it to the student pile.  If a student rolls an "EVEN" number they have to get a stick from the student pile and bring it to their pile.

We reviewed our Odd's and Even numbers before the game started.  All K-2 student did a great job with this activity.  Our objectives were physical fitness, fair play and some math.  Whomever had the most sticks at the end WON.  Funny how the students seemed to defeat Mr. Shackett all day long.
