"ABC's and 123's" (Basketball Version)

All K-1-2 students completed the activity "ABC's and 123's" this week.  We have practiced Basketball Dribbling in our centers and are now putting this skill to work in fun games and activities.  In the video above students are navigating around the BPMS gymnasium dribbling their individual basketballs trying to spell their full names by locating the orange spot with the correct letters in order.  Students were using their "finger pads" as well bending their knees while traveling. 

All students are at different levels in dribbling.  Some use two hands to bounce the ball and some are starting to use one.  This is OK.  Students are focused their own SUCCESS in having their own individual basketball, not worrying about classmates and most of all having FUN.
